This bespoke counter was the starting point for our etched cabinet series. The orange bar front is a high gloss laminate on a plywood substrate. The pattern is etched into the surface using computer technology to reveal the layers of ply below in a sculptural manner. At first the front looks tiled but on closer inspection not all is what it seems...
The top surface is also made in birch ply, turned to reveal the endgrain and finished with a tough hardwax oil.
